Jimmy George

Jimmy George (March 8, 1955 - November 30, 1987) is a legendary volley ball player from Kerala, India. Born on March 8, 1955 in Peravoor, in Kannur district of Kerala, he is the first Indian volleyball player to become a professional. He played club volleyball in Italy and was regarded as one amongst the best ten Players of the world. He was an instant success and a legend in his own lifetime. He died in a car crash in Italy on Novermber 30, 1987.

Famous Swimming Champion - Arjuna award winner- works as Indian swimming Team -selector coach-takes active parts in Asian games, Saph games, Common Wealth Games- won several awards. A star in Asiad. Wife: Shiney Wilson(Olimpic fame). Now serves in Southern Railways.

Prof. Sunny Thomas

The world Riffle shooter -took part in two Olimpics, Asiad, Common Wealth games and various World Championships. Now serves as National coach in riffle shooting.

Sumi Cyriac

Sumi Cyriac is the most promising of all the swimmers in India. At this young age the records that she has set in quite unparalleled. She is the best swimmer both at the All India Inter University level and in Kerala. Sumi is the only lady talent in India to set a unique record of 22 gold with 8 new records in the All India Inter University Aquatics Championships. She is the only one in the water to maintain an individual championships for 4 years consecutively (last 4 years). Ms. Sumi is studying for the second year B.Sc. Zoology at Alphonsa College Pala.

She was born in to a family of swimmers. She is the daughter of Mr. Cyriac J. Thoppil swimming coach and Kottayam District Sports Development Officer. Her uncle Thomas is the official coach of Mahatma Gandhi University. Ms. Sumi is started Swimming at the age of 7. Her achievements year wise is given below.
